KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 (Bernama) -- Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, President of the Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti), hosted a luncheon here today in conjunction with the Chinese New Year for about 300 old people, disabled children and orphans from 13 welfare homes in the Klang Valley.

The luncheon, held at a leading hotel here, was organized by Bakti with the collaboration of YTL Corporation Sdn Bhd.

The welfare homes which sent their inmates included Rumah Kebajikan Chempaka, Shelter Homes, Ampang Old Folks Home, Pertubuhan Orang Cacat Malaysia, Rumah Victory and Rumah Sejahtera Sungai Way.

Puan Sri Norainee Abd Rahman, wife of the deputy prime

minister, and Toh Puan Aishah Ong, chairman of the organizing committee, also attended the luncheon.

The guests were served, among other things, the Chinese New Year traditional "yee sang" raw fish salad and entertained to a performance by the Shantung Acrobatic Group.
