 New year begin with a new prospect.
As I recalled last year’s events, there were a few co-workers went to enroll and
equip themselves in Jubilee and Tung Ling seminary, in order for them to serve
more effectively.
Our children and youth centre were forced to move to another place, due to
neighbor's complaint. Indeed, it takes a lot of endurance of love, that is from
God, to accept this reality. But now my heart filled with thankfulness. As the
Bible, in Roman 8:28 said“ And we know that in all thing God works for the |
good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
In mid-December 2007, together with 27 children, we moved to a new centre. But
the new centre is smaller compare with the old one. Nevertheless, I taught the
children the virtue of give thanks in all circumstances, so that our heart may
filled with joy.
Due to this moved, quite a lot of expenses incurred. But I am glad that they are
supporters who extended their helping hands in donating money and kinds. This
acts of love, it really touched my heart and encouraged me a lot. With much
appreciation, I will not take this for granted.
Next year, I will make every endeavor to improve our services; in children and
youth, in drug rehab . To train, to guide, to care and to help them , so that
they can live a meaningful life and be a useful citizen to the nation, when they
graduated or left the centre. As for the poor and needy old folks in their
golden years, they felt being loved and taken care off as they stay in the old
folks home.
Besides these, I will set up more centres like Drug Rehab, Children and Youth
Centre and Old Folk Home, in different places to meet the need of the community.
The next vision that I have will be in Klang, to open a Children and Youth
Centre there. To be a beacon of light to shine in that area.
Only with God’s love that can change a person’s heart.
Only love can change the life of a prodigal son. Amen!
