The "CMC Christmas Celebrations" is organised by Jubilee Initiative Malaysia Bhd, CMC Centre, UCSI and the Cheras Pastors' Fellowship.

Event organising chairman Foo Moy Peng of Jubilee Initiative said it was the joint effort of 18 churches in Cheras.

It is aimed at raising funds for Persatuan Kebajikan Charis, Great Commissions Social Concerns Centre Bhd, Rumah Victory, Charis Community Services Bhd and Malaysian Care.

"These organisations run orphanages and homes for the underprivileged. Charis also runs a dialysis centre," said Foo.
