born in a quite well to do family. My parent have nine children and I am no. 7.
My family loves me and pampered me so much, never disappoint me in what I want.
Gradually, I became a self-centre and a prideful person. Disobedient to my
parent and very often esconded from school. Even associated with a company of
gangsters. I was 16 years old then.
At one time, I cannot resist the challenge of a gang of drug addicts, and also
of my "kiasu" spirit in me, I took a dose of drug. Because of one dose, it
ruined my life for more than ten years. During that ten years, I lived a
miserable life. For me to live is better to die. |
I have been to drug rehab centre a number of times, but not successful in
kicking off my drug addition. So, I went to Singapore, hope to begin a new
life. But, after a few months, I took drug again, even involved in selling. I
was caught by police and jailed for five and a half years, accompany with 8
strokes of rotan.
After released from prison, I came back to Malaysia. I took drug again, and
caught by police and jailed for half year. After released from prison, I told
my sister, I will stopped taking drug. But my sister did not trust my word
anymore.
In year 2000, one night, I came to know the testimony of Bro. Philip Mok
through watching Astro. After much consideration, in year 2001, I enrolled in
Rumah Victory Drug Rehab Centre.
In the centre, I can felt and observed the true love among the students. There
was one brother, he was a former drug addict and a former gangster's head, he
is the one who encouraged me, help me and pray for me. Even massaged my aching
body.
His love, care and humbleness touched my heart. So, I decided to believe and
accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. To guide and leads me the rest of
my life.
In one and half years, I successfully completed the gospel Rehabilitation
program. After that I stayed in the centre to serve and learn to be more like
Jesus.
In year 2006, God gave me a good wife. In August 13, 2007 God gave me a son. I
thanks God for all the blessing. As I recalled, the devil wanted to kill and
destroy my life. BUT God gives me life to the abundant. From now on, I want to
glorify God for the rest of my life.
