ago, Pang Foo Wen was an irritating drug addict; years after, he no longer a
drug addict that irritates people, he is a supervisor of Rumah Victory Drug
Rehab Centre whom carries a vision to help others drug addicts to walk to their
right path.
"Without others' help, I'm sure I won't have a meaningful life like now," said
Pang.
Pang Foo Wen did a lot of terrible things last time. He was imprisoned, in and
out from drug rehab centre for several times, he still the same after years, he
did not feel guilty and change himself. He sitting in front of the reporter,

look strict and scary like how he told us about his stories, he looks kind and
has a fatherly look.
He recalled and said, "I'm the eldest in my family, because the broken marriage
of my parents, I didn't got enough care and love from my family, eventually I
started to become an insurgent,"
"My dad left my mom alone and hurt me, in order to make my mom feel happy, I
became a gangster, I didn't made my mom happy, instead, I made her worried," he
continued.
"With the gang of gangster, I did lots of awful crime, I often afraid of being
troubled by police. I locked myself at home; my everyday routine was like a bat
hiding from the sunlight. To make myself felt more comfortable, I became a drug
addict," he added.
So who is the one who bring you back?
"I think is God, He granted me faith to lead my life. One of my brothers who are
a Christian persuaded me several times to enter a drug rehab centre, but I no
longer had confidence towards drug rehabilitation. Days after I refused him, an
old friend of mine visited me, he was also a drug addict before, however, he was
totally a different person now, he no longer a drug addict and he had a
meaningful life! His stories motivated me to go drug rehabilitation centre once
more, so my brother brought me to House of Victory," said Mr. Pang.
"Drug addicts should have a heart that's really wanted to change, if they do not
have this criteria, it will not surprise if he get into drugs again. House of
Victory helped me a lot on this, in fact, is God who make me walk till now. I'm
very satisfied with my life now, I totally don't dare to pray or wish to have
such a happy life now, I will cherish what God granted me that I do not deserve
it all!"
