Went house of victory on 25th april... well, it's a
bit late now to update but, hope you guys would understand.
House of victory is a home where teenagers like us but a little bit naughtier
than us stay. Most of them came in because they got caught fighting in school or
other places, smoking, ponteng classes etc etc. Well, you may think it's hard to
communicate with them *that's what i think too before i step into the home* hehe,
but we're WRONG! They're nice people, very nice.
We had games to make sure all of us would bond together, and also songs session,
so we had this finding it's owner game. We wrote our hobby, ambition and
something else *i forgot* on 3 pieces of paper. After mixing up, we took 3
papers again and we're suppose to find it's owner. We're the winners! |
After that we sat in a circle, and we're suppose to fill up the spaces
between us, or else when the music stops, we'll kena TOOTHPASTE on our
faces! After that we had a game where each group has to build a "tower" for
the eggie egg. The tower must be high & stable enough to support the egg on
top of it. So we built the tower with STRAWS! Aren't we awesome?
After that we had a sharing session where some of them shared about their
feelings during the visit to house of victory.
We realized that they changed A LOT in the home. Thank god! They found the
path of life that they should be walking, with jesus. Now they often help
the other homes like orphanage, old folks home etc etc. They proved that
THEY'RE NOT USELESS! We learned a lot from them through this visit. The
person-in-charge of house of victory and also our YMJ leader.
